Nicole Guerriero Teaches How to Achieve Big Hair with Small Curls

In this video Nicole teaches us how to get big, voluminous hair with small curls. She also shows us how to do a dutch braid. To get this look you will need a curling iron (clip-less curling iron), clips to section your hair, a comb, hairspray and bobby pins.

You begin by curling the bottom half of head (sectioning your hair makes it easier and manageable). You have to take small sections of hair and curl away from your face, small sections give you smaller curls and small but wide sections give you more of a wavy look. When you get to the crown of your head, place your curling iron under the section of hair (again, curling away from your head) for more volume. Continue to curl all your hair throughout your whole head.

Tease your hair if you want bigger hair and more volume. You can wear this look with or without a braid. In the video, Nicole shows how to achieve a dutch braid. You can wear this look to go to school, to go to work, to out for a night, or even on just a casual and lazy day. Big and curly has been an on going trend all year round. Adding a braid to your could help on those hot days when you don’t want your hair in your face.

Add Some Studs In Your Life!

http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/fashion#22116890089

Dressed to kill, literally. Spikes are clawing their way back into today’s fashion scene.”

-Michael Hamamoto

Originated from the rock and roll fashion, metal studs add a bold and fierce look. In the recent years, studs have made a comeback. Metal studded accessories add an edgy look to any outfit. They could be added to shirt and coats or even the most simplest piece of clothing such as a t-shirt or crewneck.

High end brands such as burberry and Christian louboutin have many clothes, shoes and accessories that have encorporated metals studs.  We all know that not everyone could afford to buy these types of brands, but everyone could follow this bold trend!

Do It Yourself!

You can make a trip to your local craft store and pick up a variety of studs at a very inexpensive cost. You will also need fabric glue to paste the studs onto your clothing item (or shoes).  Everyone can have this edgy look without spending your money on the high end brands.  You can add the studs to your shoes, like the way they are on the Vans in the picture above, add them to the shoulders or pockets of a blouse or blazer (any shirt of your choice), or add them to your jeans or shorts. Add some studs into your life and show people your edgy side!
